Head of Corporate Finance | Public Sector | Hybrid Working

Castlefield Recruitment are partnering with a reputable Public Sector organisation based in the North West, who are looking for a Head of Corporate Finance to join their team on an interim basis.

The role will include responsibility for overseeing financial and chief accountants. 

Responsibilities include;

• Play a key role in developing and delivering the Organisation's transformation programme
• Supporting capital projects in order to develop financial plans 
• Leading on the delivery of the closure of accounts and production of statutory accounts
• Responsibility for the delivery of relevant and timely advice and guidance to Members, the Senior Management Team, Directors, Heads of Service and Budget Holders
• Development and leadership of Finance team

The successful candidate;

• CCAB/CIMA qualified Finance professional with significant post qualification experience and evidence of continuing personal development
• Significant experience of managing relevant teams/areas with demonstrable success
• Experience of delivering the closure of accounts and the production of statutory accounts
