GLOBAL HEAD OF COMMUNICATIONS & BRAND - FinTech

BASED LONDON

4 days/week in the office

£120,000-140,000+bonus,bens

An exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, fast-paced and innovative B2B FinTech firm operating in the Trading space.

You will lead the communications and brand efforts across the business. You will be responsible for leading, building and implementing global communication strategies, focusing on enhancing the firm's external visibility, establishing, maintaining, and influencing relationships with key external stakeholders and ensuring effective communications on a global basis. You will serve as a key point of contact for media inquiries and coordinate timely responses across various channels.

You will be an experienced Communications professional with experience gained in the Financial Services (Institutional) sector and in particular from the Capital Markets space, able to work at both a strategic and operational level.

  • Manage external communications, ensuring consistency of messaging
  • Serve as a key point of contact for media inquiries
  • Cultivate relationships with journalists and secure media coverage.
  • Help coordinate and oversee hosted/sponsored events, such as conferences and industry gatherings, to maximize visibility and engagement.
  • Collaborate closely with the Founder/CEOs to ensure alignment of communication efforts with overall business strategy.
  • Oversee the production of marketing materials, including presentations, press releases, managing website (and internal intranet) and social media content, to maintain a polished and professional image

Experience required

  • You will be an experienced Communications professional with broad, deep functional expertise across the corporate communications mix and in particular external communications
  • Experience working in capital markets is required eg.trading, fintech (institutional markets), investment banking, hedge funds etc
  • An understanding of quantitative trading and/or FX would be helpful but is not essential
  • Experience with event management and sponsorship coordination
  • Experience in media relations, with a track record of building strong relationships with trade press and the nationals and maximising the effectiveness of those relationships
  • You will need experience in brand development and building brand profile ideally in an international context
  • Experienced in developing and managing an effective content and messaging strategy
  • Strong influencing skills and stakeholder management. Able to cultivate and maintain good working relationships at all levels including working closely with the CEO and C-suite executives
  • Experienced using data to track and measure ROI to assess the effectiveness of communications plans
  • You will need experience across digital communications to include websites and social media
