Head of Commercial Finance

Fantastic senior commercial finance role within this PLC Group for a qualified accountant with 5 years+ experience in a senior commercial finance role.

You will be responsible for provision of commercial analysis and business support to senior management and the executive. You will support the business in understanding and influencing performance including sales pipeline, performance, departmental spend, gross profit & margin, development and investment

Reporting directly to CFO (and deputising where necessary) Managing the commercial finance team and interacting with all areas of finance and operations.

Responsibilities will include:

• Business partner Executive & management team
• Ensure ownership & accountability of key stakeholders
• Production & delivery of budgets/forecasts
• Creation of operational plan alongside key stakeholders
• Establish & monitor KPI's
• Sales business partner
• Trading updates
• Pipeline & churn analysis
• Establish Activity based costing (ABC) models
• Management accounts
• Cost centre reporting
• Market & competitor analysis
• Design Sales incentives scheme & manage payout
• Business loans
• Investment & development spend
• Monitor departmental spend
• Detailed Month end analysis
• Business cases new firms
• Bottom up business plan
• Analysis of commercial data
• Business insight
• Support on investment opportunities
• Develop market appropriate sales offering alongside key stakeholders
• Interrogate & interpret Data - self service
• Oversee FP&A Manager & associated activities

This is a key role in an ambitious, fast-changing, competitive sector.

You will be an ambitious finance professional with strong commercial finance experience. You will have the ability to understand the business and will have strong business partnering, communication and influencing skills.

Ideally you will have sector experience within financial services.
