Your new company

Hays Senior Finance are exclusively partnering with a British online fashion retailer based in Herefordshire. They sell their products exclusively over the Internet and were previously named the second-largest online fashion retailer in the UK.

Your new role

As a key member of the finance team, this role takes ownership of all commercial finance, financial planning, financial analytics and management accounting. As the primary finance owner of the P&L, the role will support and drive business decision-making, business partnering with senior stakeholders across the business.

The position will lead and manage 1 qualified and part-qualified accountant and work closely with the financial control and purchase ledger teams. The role also works closely with the Data team to ensure that data and systems are used to deliver accurate financial information and the optimal level of business insight and business efficiency. What you'll need to succeed

• Qualified CIMA/ACCA or equivalent, with 5+ years PQE.
• Strong team leader who has developed individuals and managed performance
• Able to work on own initiative
• Excellent communication skills with experience of communicating at all levels within a business, including regular presentations to Board members.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, modelling, planning
• Good knowledge of accounting standards
• High level of numeracy
• Excellent attention to detail
• Have strong finance systems experience, including analytical tools
