The Burford Recruitment Company are proudly working in partnership with a Private Estate located near Moreton in Marsh. Our client is looking for an experienced and 'hands on’ Head Housekeeper to lead a small team of Housekeepers from the front, whilst working seamlessly with the wider household team on this stunning countryside estate.

This is a super opportunity for a dedicated and passionate Head Housekeeper seeking long-term employment in a beautiful rural countryside location. A lovely two bed cottage is available on the estate with the majority of the bills included.

You should be a confident and skilled Housekeeper, with a key focus on organisation and high attention to detail!

Your duties will include but not limited to:

  • Ensuring the team are working to a high standard
  • Supporting and encouraging a positive cohesive team environment
  • Laundry -washing & ironing, care of delicate fabrics, fine linen, and antiques.
  • Keeping facilities and common areas clean and maintained.
  • Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors.
  • Notifying managers of necessary repairs.
  • Packing and unpacking
  • Assisting guests when necessary

Additional information

  • Work Pattern: 7am - 4pm / 8am -5pm on a rota with typically one weekend a month. However, full flexibility is required.
  • Accommodation: separate 2 bed cottage on the estate, subsidised bills
  • Salary: £40,000 - £50,000pa plus benefits (health insurance, pension etc)
