Head Gardener

We are currently hiring for a Head Gardener for our large client in Swindon. This role is due to start ASAP until the end of September currently, with potential of further work. The purpose of this role is to undertake a wide range of horticulture and grounds maintenance duties.

Job Description: -

• Carry out all aspects of amenity horticulture throughout Lydiard Park.
• To carry out ongoing restoration plans around the park by working alongside the Park Manager.
• To work with the Park Manager to discuss and present efforts to drive commercial opportunities, outreach training and supervise, monitor and direct the grounds team.

Candidate: -

• Proven experience in general amenity horticulture.
• Knowledge and understanding of Health & Safety in the workplace AND be first aid trained.
• Ability to carry out aspects of landscaping.
• NTPC certificates for use of equipment and pesticide.
• Previous experience in a relevant field and management.
• Own PPE essential - work safety boots, hi-vis & gloves.

Shift Time: -

• Monday to Friday 07:30am start wit 16:00 finish
• 37 hrs a week.
