Red are looking for a talented Head Chef for our clients country pub based in picturesque Leicestershire. This role would suit a Chef with a branded background who would like to cook more fresh food or have a background in fresh food but are aware that they use some bought in items. They are not looking for foams and tweezers, just good honest plates of food with great ingredients that are sympathetically plated. This company recruits lovely and loyal people who take huge pride in delivering the best gastro pub food.

Head Chef Responsibilities:
  • Lead the team to deliver outstanding gastro pub food, creating a great guest experience.
  • Achieve excellence in food hygiene.
  • Manage ordering process for ingredients and equipment.
  • Kitchens to be always meticulously clean.
  • Lead team training.
  • The menus are centrally controlled so you will be working from spec.
  • Create an environment that promotes learning and respect.
  • Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards.
  • Foster a great working relationship with Front of House.

About You:
  • You will ideally be from a Branded background.
  • You are passionate about food with impeccable standards and a great team spirit.
  • You can lead the team as well as develop and coach them to be the best they can be.
  • You have strong leadership and management skills.
  • You are organised and able to multitask.
  • You have excellent attention to detail.
  • You will have great communication skill.
