Job Title: Nursery Assistant (Unqualified)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist qualified nursery staff in providing high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years old.
  • Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote their physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • Support outdoor play and exploration, encouraging children to connect with nature and explore their surroundings.
  • Assist with daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and toileting, ensuring the well-being and safety of all children.
  • Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, promoting open communication and collaboration.
  • Maintain a clean and organized nursery environment, adhering to health and safety guidelines at all times.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children in a childcare setting, such as a nursery, preschool, or daycare.
  • A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • A positive and proactive attitude, with a willingness to learn and contribute to the overall success of the nursery team.
  • Willingness to undergo relevant training and development opportunities.
