Maintenance Operative / Handy Person


About the Role:We are seeking a skilled and reliable maintenance operator to join our client in Luton. As a handy person, you will play a crucial role in maintaining their facilities and ensuring they operate smoothly. Your tasks will include general repairs, minor fixes, and upkeep duties.


Responsibilities:

  • General DIY Duties: You'll be responsible for various tasks around the building, including:
  • Painting: Refreshing walls and surfaces.
  • Filling and Sanding Holes: Ensuring a smooth finish.
  • Tightening Screws and Taps: Fixing loose fixtures.
  • General Repairs: Addressing any maintenance issues promptly.
  • Lifting and Moving: Assisting with site logistics.


Requirements:

  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous.
  • Skills: Basic carpentry, plumbing, and electrical knowledge.
  • Reliability: Punctuality and commitment to completing tasks.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and move objects as needed.
