Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Metal Finisher/Polisher/Deburrer to join our clients manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in finishing and polishing metal parts to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. This role requires attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to work with various metal finishing tools and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Metal Finishing
• Perform finishing processes such as sanding, grinding, buffing, and polishing on metal parts to remove imperfections and enhance appearance.
• Ensure all finished products meet quality standards and specifications.

Deburring

• Remove burrs, sharp edges, and other surface imperfections from metal parts using hand tools, grinders, and other deburring equipment.
• Inspect parts for quality and precision after deburring.

Quality Control

• Inspect finished parts for defects, ensuring they meet company and industry standards.
• Document and report any quality issues or concerns to the Production Supervisor.

Safety Compliance

• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while operating machinery and performing metal finishing and deburring tasks.
• Report any safety hazards or incidents to the Production Supervisor immediately.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Metal Finisher, Polisher, or Deburrer in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of metal finishing techniques, tools, and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic understanding of safety protocols and procedures related to metalworking.
