Groups and Flights Travel Consultant

Our client, a leading business in the Travel sector is seeking a Groups and Flights Travel Consultant to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.

Due to growth our client is looking for a Groups and Flights Travel consultant to join their existing team on a full-time basis, working closely with the department where you’re responsible for the organization of both group and individual travel, including air travel, ground transportation, hotel accommodation and booking meeting rooms.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 years’ experience in the Travel sector in a similar role, and be proficient in the use of GDS (Amadeus).

Key Responsibilities:

- Booking flights using GDS (Amadeus)

- Obtaining customer quotations

- Sourcing hotels to match requirements and budgets

- Invoicing customers

- Compiling suggested itineraries for customers

- Booking transfers

- Negotiating with hotels to get favorable prices and Ts and Cs

- Account management

Key Experience:

- A minimum of 1 years’ experience in the Travel sector in a similar role

- Proficient use of Amadeus

- Able to work both independently and as part of a team

- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail at all times

- Solid travel knowledge

- Excellent diary management ability

- Able to liaise with colleagues and clients of all levels, building and maintaining relationships

- Able to work to deadlines and in a pressured / fast-paced environment
