Group Tax Senior Manager

Marks Sattin are delighted to be working exclusively with an international manufacturing business based in Yorkshire to recruit a Group Tax Senior Manager.

Reporting to the Group Tax Director, this is a newly created role and extremely exciting opportunity to join the team in a senior role that has oversight of a great breadth of responsibilities. The role will include but is not limited to:

• Tax controls and governance
• Reviewing country-by-country reporting documentation
• Reviewing new domestic and international tax legislation and reporting standards
• Managing the Group's tax provision and the Group's Effective Tax Rate
• Mitigating and managing tax risks
• Transfer Pricing compliance
• Pillar 2 compliance
• Maximising tax incentives and reliefs
• Restructuring, M&A and financing projects
• VAT compliance including processes, reviews and technical support
• Assisting the UK payroll/HR teams with employment tax related matters as required
• Process and systems improvements and transformation projects

In order to be considered, you will be ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified and have strong UK and international tax experience, with a strong tax accounting knowledge. As this is a broad role with both practical and strategic elements, it is essential that you are adaptable and that you have the communication and interpersonal skills to be able to influence and engage with stakeholders at all levels.
