A rapidly growing, highly acquisitive manufacturing company, are currently seeking an Interim Group Tax Reporting Manager as they continue to expand. This is an urgent requirement that has come about due to the tax complexity within the group increasing and there being a need for a subject matter.

This role will be working closely alongside both the wider finance team and the external advisors and as the first tax hire you will be expected to take a "hands-on" approach with regards to all tax matters.

This is an initial 6-9 Month contract with the potential to go permanent

Responsibilities:

- Review and submission of UK corporate tax returns

- Manage corporate tax compliance and reporting, having total oversight of all group entities across all jurisdictions

- Manage the Group’s tax reporting and tax accounting obligations on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.

- Manage the Group’s global reporting requirements

- Be the go to person for all aspects of tax across the wider group and be able to translate to non-tax professionals

- Manage the group’s tax exposures to maximise ETR

- Be a key point of contact for the business, its regional teams, local authorities and HMRC.

Requirements:

- ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified ideally with a move in-house preferred

- Strong communication skills liaising with non-tax personnel

- A confident, autonomous mindset with strong technical skills and the readiness to take a "hands on" approach.
