Financial controller

Primarily UK based with their head office in Reading, they now look to recruit and experienced financial controller to own both the technical accounting and FP&A. You will have a team to three reporting in, and will offer innovation around systems and processes, develop controls and offer a granular level partnering service to both sales and operations.

Duties:

* Responsibility for the Finance Function and management of the Finance Manager and Software License Manager

* Management of all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL and Revenue Recognition

* Preparation of the budget and updating financial forecasts and reporting variances

* Preparation of monthly management accounts and management reports

* Ensuring quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting

* Providing external auditors with the necessary documentation and support

* Checking and approval of payroll

* Management of cash and preparing cash forecasts for the CFO

* Preparation of Monthly and Quarterly Royalty Reports

* Preparation of Annual Sales Commission Plans and monthly calculations

* Administration and Updating of Price Books as required

* Approving non standard pricing or payment terms

* Calculation of key KPIs

* Ensuring Insurance cover is valid and up to date

* Preparation of VAT and R&D Claims for Submission

* Ad hoc analysis to support management team

* Preparation of Company Update and Board Presentations

* Quarterly reporting to Future Fund
