A rare opportunity has become available for an experienced Group Reporting Accountant to join a national professional services firm at their Head Office in Doxford Park.

The role includes management and co-ordination of monthly management accounts and statutory reporting.

This is an excellent career development opportunity for a qualified financial accountant to develop reporting and analytical skills in a prestigious firm, with development and growth opportunities.

Role Overview

- Provide timely, accurate and reconciled accounting information to facilitate the production of management information and consolidated financial statements

- Preparation of consolidated IFRS group and FRS101 subsidiary accounts

- Production of month end board pack

- Budget vs actual variance analysis

- Balance sheet reconciliations and nominal ledger maintenance

- Lead on integration process

- Drive improvements and efficiencies within management accounts process

- Key point of contact for external audit and statutory reporting

The Ideal Person

- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with strong technical experience

- An aptitude for attention to detail and adherence to deadlines is essential

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Fully competent with MS Office, with strong Excel skills

- Ability to work under own initiative with strong organisational skills to plan and manage own workload and prioritise tasks as appropriate.
