Group Procurement Manager

A leading educational services company based in Gloucester is seeking a self-starting and highly motivated Procurement Manger to join their business where they will be working in a remote position. With an established procurement team consisting of 4 people, this role will provide you with the opportunity to further progress your career alongside the established team members.

Your new role
As the Procurement Manager, you'll be reporting in to the Head of Procurement. This role is remotely based with 5% travel required to the head office site in Gloucester. Within this role, you will be expected to manage the creation and delivery of new contracts as well as day-to-day purchasing of goods and services. You will play a key role in procurement sourcing, demand management and cost avoidance. You will be expected to provide support and insight to the procurement team to support professionals and training on-job.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in your application as the Procurement Manager, you must have worked within a Procurement leadership role previously. You will have gained at least a level 4 CIPS qualification and have a strong understanding of Microsoft packages. With this role being remotely based, you must have a proven track record of working within remote / hybrid roles to self-motivate effectively. You will also need to pass a DBS check.

What you'll get in return
As the Procurement Manager, you'll be earning a salary of up to £47,000 (dependent upon experience). In addition to this salary, you'll receive 33 days of annual leave (including BH's); a generous pension scheme and also a health cash back scheme.
