The Role

The Group Management Accountant role is a pivotal position with the finance function to aid the business delivery of it’s strategic objectives. It’s a role split between BAU management accounting, and influencing strategy, direction & decision making through financial analysis. The key components of the role will include:

• Reporting to the Head of Finance with a dotted line to the CFO
• Training and mentoring of part qualified Accountants
• Business partnering with non-financial Heads & Departments
• Reviewing, and developing processes, procedures, controls & systems
• Involvement in high profile international projects
• Production and consolidation of group management accounts
• Preparation of monthly reporting packs - P&L, KPI’s, costs, overheads, etc.
• Group budget setting and monitoring
• Variance analysis
• Group cashflow analysis & forecasting
• Ensuring a robust month-end close
• Feeding into financial accounting & annual audit
