Robert Walters - Group Financial Controller - Permanent - Staffordshire (hybrid working)

Our client, are looking for a Group Financial Controller with the ability to maintain a smooth running of the organisations finance team but also show great people skills with past experience.

The role entails having direct reports and working closely with the Finance Director.

Location: Staffordshire (hybrid working)
Contract hours: Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £65,000-£75,000 per annum

Key responsibilities of the Group Financial Controller

* Take full responsibility for the month-end process and ensure Controls and Processes of the team are to the highest standard from both and external audit and SOX perspective
* Manage a team and a natural leader / people manager who helps coach the team, driving individual performance and continual improvement
* Identify system improvements that can help refine financial processes
* Challenge the status quo and uses financial information to drive business outcomes

Key essentials of the Group Financial Controller

* Qualified Accountant (ACA,ACCA,CIMA)
* Highly computer literate
* Experience of implementing an ERP system
* Working in a pressurised environment and to tight deadlines
