An opportunity has arisen for a Group Financial Controller to join an entrepreneurial, high growth manufacturing business as they look to hire a Financial Controller. The organisation are market leaders in the space in which they operate and have a strong growth plan. This role will play a pivotal role in the finance department and be the right hand person to the CFO.

You will play a crucial role in leading the developing the finance team, ensuring robust financial processes and controls along with supporting the overall financial performance, profitability and growth.

To successfully deliver in the profile position, you will need to have:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CA, CIMA)
  • Experience in preparing statutory accounts
  • Experience in producing management reports
  • Experience in leading on external audits
  • Hands on approach
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong excel and systems skills

A little more information about the role:

  • Prepare the monthly consolidation of management accounts
  • Ensure timely preparation and completely of statutory accounts
  • Own and lead on the annual budgeting and forecasting process
  • Manage the relationship with the auditors and any other third party suppliers
  • Support and develop the finance team
  • Ownership of the payroll process
  • Design, document and implement internal controls and processes
