Partner Financial are working with a high growth, FTSE 100 business services company. With a turnover in the billions, the business has grown aggressively over the past few years both organically and through international acquisitions, positioning themselves at the forefront of their market.

Reporting to the Group Finance Manager and working closely with the Financial Controller, this broad position offers the successful candidate a diverse exposure supporting the reporting work stream, FP&A and the Accounting teams at a Group level across a global organisation.

You will be joining a high-performing team that positions Finance as a centre of excellence within the business, with the opportunity to progress within an organisation that champions professional development.

Key responsibilities:

  • Leading the preparation of the monthly management accounts, as well as the year end and half year Group consolidated accounts
  • Providing financial analysis that will support the presentation of half year and full year results
  • Assist with the consolidation and review of the Group’s budget and wider strategic objectives
  • Adapting a business partnering approach with various stakeholders, both financial and operational, to support with analysis, queries and other ad-hoc requirements
  • Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement related to internal processes and ways of working within the Finance function
  • Reviewing monthly business areas results, as well as monitoring key trends and KPIs across the Group
  • • Working alongside the FP&A team preparing the top-down forecasts, reviewing different business areas’ budgets, and preparing supporting business insights analysis for the company’s results

The ideal candidate:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA) from a top 6 practice
  • Experience working with complex consolidations within a multi-national organisation
  • Able to deliver with exceptional levels of accuracy, placing a high regard on achieving excellence
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbally, with the ability to build solid working relationships
  • Previous experience with Hyperion Financial Management is desirable but not essential
  • Self-motivated, able to work under pressure and driven to succeed
  • Excellent Excel skills
