Group Financial Accountant

Reed Finance is working with a globally recognised organisation in the search for an Interim Group Financial Accountant to provide essential support during a critical Year End period.

This role offers flexible hybrid working arrangements, with the expectation of 1-2 days per week in the office. The ideal candidate will be a fully Qualified Accountant with substantial post-qualification experience (PQE).

• Lead the preparation of the Group’s Annual Report & Accounts.
• Ensure all year-end timetable deadlines are met, including the preparation and posting of year-end journals and advising on the impact of changes.
• Act as a primary liaison point with external auditors.
• Maintain robust balance sheet controls, ensuring reconciliations are performed, reviewed, and all balances substantiated.
• Control and maintain fixed asset records.
• Develop and maintain financial accounting and modelling systems as necessary.

• Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Substantial PQE.
• Strong experience in financial reporting and year-end processes.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise with external auditors.
• Proficiency in maintaining balance sheet controls and fixed asset records.
• Capability to develop and maintain financial accounting systems.
