Group Finance Manager

Citadel Source are delighted to be working on an exclusive basis with a market leading, private equity backed Bristol business to appoint a Group Finance Manager. This role to be employed on a hybrid basis (2-3 days per week in office) on an exciting new opportunity partnering the wider group business and non-finance stakeholders.

About you

In addition to strong partnering skills, the successful candidate must possess the ability to relate complex financial information to senior leadership within the organisation. In addition to supporting group reporting requirements, the position will also require a keen eye for continuous improvement, as the organisation needs to become far more process driven and controlled.

The role

It is a great opportunity for someone with experience in financial accounting or reporting who is interested in developing into a value-adding and business-facing finance role. With the support of the senior leadership team, the role will help the business build budgeting and forecasting processes, set challenging but achievable targets for operational colleagues, identify risks and opportunities, and track progress against actions.

As a Group Finance Manager your role will include but not be limited to:

• Production of Group monthly board and management packs.
• Business partner with Senior Leadership Team and non-finance stakeholders
• Analysis of the management accounts and variances to budget/forecast and prior year, with supporting commentary to ensure managers understand drivers of performance.
• Assist with the preparation of the Group statutory accounts. Coordinating with the Group Financial Controller to develop Group accounting policies and procedures.
• Analysis of working capital/cash flow forecasting.
• Supporting business functions by analysing financial insights, improving processes, and finding more efficient ways to do things.
• Analysis of working capital/cash flow forecasting.
• Any other ad-hoc tasks as required by FC/CFO
