SRM are delighted to be partnering with a reputable business in Milton Keynes for a Group Finance Manager, within a a relatively small Head Office finance team where there is a lot going on! The FD is looking for someone to join as soon as possible, with the opportunity to get involved in production of the FY23 financial statements.

This role is quite diverse day to day, and creates plenty of opportunity to work across the business on different projects.

The successful candidate will be ACA or ACCA Qualified, with approximately 1-2 years industry experience under their belt, who is looking to progress their technical and reporting skills further within the Finance Retail space.

  • Preparation of the monthly group reporting pack, including IFRS adjustments, for submission to the parent company group finance team
  • Monthly and YTD variance analysis for balance sheet accounts
  • Completion of the statutory accounts and annual group financial statements in UK GAAP, including group consolidation and workings behind the financial statements and compliance
  • Production of subsidiary financial statements in UK GAAP
  • Co-ordinating the annual external audit process including interim and year end
  • Working with the financial planning and analysis team to maintain key reports and structures
  • Monthly board reporting
  • Influencing accounting policies including revenue recognition and acquisition consolidation
  • Strong technical accounting background
  • ACA/ACCA/CA qualified
