A global agency working across key international markets is looking for a Group Accountant, reporting to the Group Financial Controller.

This is a fantastic role suited to a fully qualified accountant with strong Excel skills and experience working in a multinational environment. You will be part of a high performing and expanding team, working closely with the Group Financial Controller to produce monthly-consolidated accounts. Main responsibilities:

  • Working with Group entities to report the accounting data monthly, ensuring the group reporting deadlines are clearly communicated and met.

  • Analyse and understand local data to ensure accuracy and completeness, consistent reporting and mapping to the Group chart of accounts.

  • Work on specific areas on the month end close (work is managed across the team)

  • Assisting with external audits and coordination of information.

  • Supporting on quarterly covenant checks and other compliance reporting.

  • Support budget and forecast process, monitoring spend vs budget and understanding variances.

  • Be involved and supporting on the implementation of the new ERP across the Group.

Essential skills and experience:

  • Fully qualified accountant (Ideally ACA/ACCA/CIMA /CA)

  • Strong technical skills and experience with UK GAAP, FRS 102 and IFRS standards

  • Strong Excel skills, experience with data manipulation and wrangling

  • Exceptional communication skills, report writing and presentation skills and be able to communicate to a range of people including non-finance and also in other countries
