Are you a talented Accountant ready to make the transition from a top tier accounting firm (Ideally the big 4) to a dynamic IT services provider?

Our client, a leader in their sector with ambitious growth plans, is seeking a Group Accountant to join their team in London Holborn.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in a Big 4 or similar size accountancy firm to step into a new and exciting industry while leveraging their expertise in financial reporting and technical accounting skills.

As the Group Accountant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the financial reporting functions of the company, providing technical accounting support, and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial information for various stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Head of Group Reporting in financial and statutory reporting
• Provide technical accounting advice and draft policy documents
• Prepare timely and accurate consolidated information for stakeholders
• Assist with audit and preparation of Group and subsidiary accounts
• Contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives
• Assist in month and quarter-end close and consolidation
• Develop strong working relationships with finance teams globally
• Prepare financial information for ad hoc management requests
• Participate in various Group-led projects as required

Skills/ Experience:

• ACA/ACCA qualified, preferably with Big 4 experience
• PQE
• Strong technical accounting knowledge
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong Excel skills
• Attention to detail
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
