Grounds Maintenance Operative

Simple Recruitment are looking for Grounds Maintenance Operatives for our client based in Bridgwater to join their team on a temporary ongoing basis.

Salary:

£11.98 per hour

What you will be doing:

• To drive to various locations in order to undertake duties as below
• Grounds/horticultural operations on highways, highways verges and public spaces
• Use of heavy machinery ie: large pedestrian mower, cow horn strimmer and 2 stroke hedge cutters etc.
• You will be grass cutting, hedge trimming, weeding, clearing leaves, clearing shrubs beds
• Also covering pruning, planting and seeding of new stock
• Ensure footpaths and other hard surfaces are in a clean condition
• Providing a service to the public
• Other duties as required

What do you need to have:

The role requires candidates to hold a full driving licence as you will be driving to various sites across Bridgwater and the local area. You will enjoy working outdoors and be happy to work in any weather conditions. You will need to be physically fit, punctual and reliable as you will be working as part of a team.

Hours:

7.30am till 4.00pm Monday to Friday
