Client Details

My client is a disruptor in butters. The concept behind the business is to elevate everyday eating, to place butter at the forefront of meals with innovative and exciting creations, whilst honouring traditions of British Farming & butter making.

As a National Account Manager, you will play a pivotal part in the ambitions expansion plans within the grocery channel.

Description

  • Deliver channel strategy, with full P&L responsibility
  • Manage the grocery portfolio, with responsibility to negotiate contracts, agree JBPs and lead on commercials
  • Develop shopper marketing strategies and promotions to drive shopper engagement and sales growth
  • Manage existing relationships and deliver continued growth, whilst actively winning new accounts
  • Continuously push for range extensions and share of space
  • Help mould the team culture and business in its early stages
  • Identify trends and patterns in the market to create category stories
  • Report regularly to the business on performance

Profile

  • Must have exposure to working on top 4 grocery (more than one preferred)
  • Open to category (although short-shelf life experience preferred)
  • Strong understanding of commercials, sales levers and growth tactics
  • Experience working in a start-up or SME
  • Passion for food
  • Excellent relationship building, presentation and communication skills
  • Hungry, hunter mentality with an entrepreneurial spirit

Job Offer

  • £50,000-£55,000 base salary
  • 20% bonus
