This role is for a graphics algorithm technical leader with a strong background in Graphic algorithm, deep understanding of the whole industry pipeline: game, game engine (rendering), Graphic API(Vulkan/Metal/DirectX), and GPU hardware pipeline. Deep insight in the forefront academic.

The successful candidate will propose new ideas and develop new algorithms for real-time rendering applications, especially for 3D games. You should have a strong understanding of graphics algorithms used in game engines (Unreal, Unity), e.g., deferred shading/lighting, physics based rendering, shadow algorithms, anti-aliasing algorithms, global illumination (ray tracing/path tracing), Neural rendering, etc.

Key Responsibilities:

Investigate the game industry and mobile GPU industry trend, agilely insight the common points of these two domains in future. Communicate with Headquarter to learn their requirements and customer pain points. Then propose innovative, viable, new idea and develop new graphics/rendering algorithms for mobile GPU.

Write the project proposition, and advertise your proposition with the panel of the review committee.

Technical lead the graphic/rendering algorithm team. Assign development task to team members, monitor their progress and quality, mentor them in technical, help them to solve crucial problems.

Report the project progress in different milestone to department director, and HQ. agilely adjust development strategy according to new information.

Attend different conference, paper reading, to learn the cut edge knowledge both in academic and industry.

Attract talent engineer into the team, identify talent people from interview.

Required:

Keen Interest in gaming and GPU

More than 10 years working experience in relevant domain.

Extensive experience in implementing real-time rendering algorithms.

A keen analytical mind, with strong problem-solving skills Well versed in game's and the ability to articulate what is strong/weak about the design of existing games Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Self-motivated, strong work ethic, and able to work independently Creativity in problem-solving and the ability to think outside of the established solutions

Desired:

Experience in rendering algorithms used in game engines (Unreal, Unity, CryEngine) is highly desirable.

Significant games industry experience. Preferably full development lifecycles on multiple AAA game titles.

Deep understanding of the game, game engine, graphics API (Vulkan/DirectX/Metal) and GPU hardware, know the whole system pipeline.

Experience in Cloud gaming, neural rendering will be ideal.
