Responsibilities:
- Conducting research and analysis on market trends, economic indicators, and investment opportunities.
- Assisting in the development of investment strategies and portfolio management techniques.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to evaluate risk and optimise portfolio performance.
- Presenting findings and recommendations to senior management, contributing to strategic decision-making processes.
- Interacting with external fund managers and involvement in the fund selection process.
- Meeting with and interviewing company management of prospective investments as part of the research, selection, and due diligence process.
- Involvement in client-facing activity as part of the process of capital raising and generating inflows into the funds alongside more experienced members of the investment team.
- Recent graduates with a degree in finance, economics, mathematics, or a related field.
- Passion for finance and investment management, with tangible evidence of this through management of personal investment portfolio, relevant internships, university societies, keeping up with current events in the world of finance and investments, e.t.c.
- Strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
