We are currently working with a versatile and niche business, who, due to the nature of the business sector, is looking to recruit a Chemistry Graduate looking for their first step on the career ladder.

Salary: £21,000 to £22,000 depending on experience
Location: Westerham
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday (4pm finish on a Friday)

What will the Graduate Trainee daily duties look like?

Your first role would be as the business Receptionist - looking after the switchboard and preparing the meeting rooms. This will give you an insight into the operations of the Company and also enable you to get to know colleagues in the Company. You will receive training on the computer systems, CRM and carry out administrative duties as required. When appropriate, you will also be invited to join sessions on Product Training.
Reporting to the Managing Director's PA, main responsibilities for this role would be:
Receptionist: Meeting and greeting visitors, ensuring sign in procedures are completed properly
Operating the switchboard: Answering, and directing calls appropriately
Accurately relaying messages
Responsibility of forwarding messages that arrive in the Sales Inbox to the relevant personnel
Sorting and distributing incoming post
Preparing Board and Meeting Rooms
Maintaining stationery and other sundry supplies and submitting new orders
Provide administrative support to the Managing Director's PA
Provide administrative support to the CSR and Sales teams
Other general ad-hoc administrative tasks as required

A Chemistry degree essential
An excellent communicator with a confident telephone manner
Excellent customer service skills
Strong organisational skills
Good MS Office experience
Able to multi-task and work under pressure
Good attention to detail
Pro-active with a positive attitude
Flexible attitude
