Are you a graduate with a 2:1 degree or above, looking to gain experience in a primary school setting?

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and skilled Graduate Teaching Assistant to work throughout Noel Park Primary School in North London. We are looking for a graduate with strong literacy and mathematics skills who can provide full support to pupils across KS1 & KS2 classes. A graduate who is committed to ensuring that all pupils they work with receive the highest standards of teaching and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working with pupils in supporting the teacher and other academic mentors across all subjects and lessons
  • Ensure all pupils are happy and engaged in their work
  • Feeding back to the class teacher to monitor progress and any issues
  • The successful graduate must:
  • Have a degree/predicted with a 2:1 or above
  • Be passionate about education
  • Be able to inspire and motivate
  • Have high expectations for students learning achievement and behaviour
  • Be creative and approachable

Noel Park Primary School is based in North London, opened on 1st September 2012 and is sponsored by Academies Enterprise Trust (AET). Our Academy has 600 children aged between 3 and 11. We are situated in the heart of vibrant Wood Green, 2 minutes from the underground station and within easy reach of Crouch End, Hornsey and Highgate.

The role is due to commence June 2024
