Reed Education are working in partnership with a school in the Exeter area who are seeking to appoint a full-time Teaching Assistant to work in close proximity with the classroom teacher.

Many of the pupils have social, emotional, and behavioural concerns, so the right candidate needs to be able to use effective communication to build strong relationships with these pupils to help promote independence and self-reliance. Therefore, helping every pupil reach their full potential.

The reasons to work at this school:

  • Learning and Development- you will be provided with training throughout your time at the school. The Senior Leadership team are keen to help those progress and obtain any additional qualifications and skills that the candidate is interested in. Some of the current staff members have gained a teaching qualification whilst working at the school. Before they started at the setting, they had little to no experience in the education sector.
  • Team- you will be joining a well-established team who are eager to get a new member of staff on board to help the pupils reach their full potential
  • Support- the successful candidate will be partnered up with either a HLTA or experienced LSA who will be able to provide you with guidance and mentor you through the start of your placement.
