Graduate Operations Assistant

Wirral, Merseyside

£23,795 pa

We are seeking a dynamic and ambitious Graduate Operations Assistant to join our client’s team in Wirral. Initially covering maternity leave, you will play a pivotal role in managing the planned and reactive maintenance of buildings across multiple sites. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you'll collaborate with the Maintenance Manager and Technical Sales Project Manager to ensure operational efficiency and client satisfaction.

Your initial main responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the planned and reactive maintenance of buildings.
  • Liaising and scheduling sub-contractors around our client's availability.
  • Responsible for effective and timely communication between our client and sub-contractors.
  • Responsible for ensuring the maintenance database is kept up to date.
  • You will be part of the health safety team and will be responsible for ensuring policies are up to date and the company is compliant.

Your ongoing responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting the sales team with enquiries and projects.
  • Assisting the maintenance team with enquiries.
  • Assisting the Technical Sales Project Manager.
  • Form part of the wider marketing team, implementing the wider business marketing strategy.
  • Overview of accounts and invoicing.
  • Gain an understanding of legal documentation.

Skills and Experience required:

  • Minimum of an upper second-class (2:1) business-based undergraduate degree.
  • Excellent standard of communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Must be computer literate with a good level of experience using Outlook, Teams, MS Word and Excel.

The successful candidate will be office-based, situated in Wirral, Merseyside but will also be expected to spend time at the offices and factory of our manufacturing partner, based in Gloucestershire. The role will also involve travel to current and prospective client locations across the whole of the UK.
