Job Title: Graduate Maintenance Engineer
Salary: Circa £32,000
Location: Eastbourne
Working hours: Monday - Friday (Earlies & Lates rotation)
Benefits: 34 days Holiday (including Bank holidays) + Pension Contributions + Enhanced benefits Package
The Company:
My client, an international printer and distributor is looking for a Maintenance engineer to join their team on a full time, permanent basis.
The successful candidates will maintain optimum efficiency in all areas of the factory including reactive and planned maintenance with industrial manufacturing machinery. You will also have involvement of projects and continuous improvements to site.
Personal requirement;
- A minimum NVQ Level 3 in electrical or mechanical engineering and/or time served apprenticeship
- Experience working in a small team and must have an aptitude for dealing with mechanical/electrical works, breakdowns, repairs and faults.
- Strong mechanical skills to repair machinery to keep downtime to a minimum
- Strong electrical fault-finding skill in particular on PLC's, drives and inverters
- Pneumatic skills and experience
- Knowledge of HV/LV Switchgear and electrical drives
- Understanding of PLC's, their function and program modification/fault finding
- Ability to work under pressure
- Excellent communication skills
- Good team player with a positive attitude that can use their initiative
- Able to work additional, flexible hours.
