Graduate Insurance Operations

G MASS consulting is part of the Goodman Masson group. We are looking for recent graduates with an interest in insurance to join us as a Graduate Insurance Operations. This is an initial 6 month contract, working for an Insurance client based in the City of London.

You will be responsible for:

• Access, review and file underwriting documentation as required from e-placement platforms
• Review contract endorsements and ensure required escalations are sent to the Portfolio Management Team
• Process and check data entry into relevant files and systems
• Monitor and handle general queries relating to the Ki platform via online chat system
• Create, monitor and update workflow items to ensure tasks are addressed in a timely and accurate manner
• Assist with the investigation and resolution of any data quality issues that are raised by support teams
• Assist with the testing and roll out of new IT initiatives
• Perform sanctions checks and raise relevant referrals to Compliance
• Perform financial crime screening and raise relevant referrals to Compliance
• Sample checking of electronically placed slips for compliance with pre-bind quality assurance (PBQA) and contract certainty standards

You will have:

• Bachelors University degree or equivalent
• A keen interest to work in insurance
• Some experience / knowledge of Lloyd's syndicate / managing agency would be beneficial
• Keen to identify and embrace new technologies and new ways of working
• Effective prioritisation and organisational skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

Benefits
£25k + £5k bonus
6 month FTC with the expectation to become permanent.
