These award winning geotechnical and geo-environmental consultants based near Leeds are seeking a graduate engineering geologist or geotechnical engineer to join the team on a range of exciting ground investigation projects. You'll be provided with specialist training from a team of specialist engineers and consultants in order to kickstart your career as a Graduate Geotechnical Engineer.

The Graduate Geotechnical Engineer selected will be:

• Assisting with site walkovers.
• Carrying out ground investigations and desk studies.
• Taking soil samples.
• Bore-hole logging.
• Preparing phase plans.
• Writing factual reports
• Working on in situ testing.
• Observing day-to-day tasks to develop geo-environmental knowledge.

The position requires no previous industry experience. Candidates must however: have a minimum of a BSc in geology, engineering geology, geography, geotechnical engineering, environmental science or a relevant subject (MSc preferable). Geotechnical Engineers should be keen to learn and develop geo-environmental and geotechnical skills, be willing to work outdoors on hands on projects, hold a full UK driving licence, be commutable to Leeds and the surrounding area and have a full right to work in the UK.
