Graduate Finance Analyst / Junior Finance Business Partner | £30,000 - £35,000 + suite of benefits | Wirral

The Opportunity

Have you recently completed an accounting and finance / maths or economics degree? Are you looking for a first step on the ladder within a group that is expanding rapidly and can offer swift and structured career progression?

Your role is a balance of core month end accounting, financial analysis and MI production.

You need to be confident in your Excel skills and be someone with ability to analyse and interpret high volumes of relatively complex data.

You’ll be supporting a finance business partner - producing insightful reports around profitability, costs, margin trends, revenue forecasts etc. It’s a chance to develop core management accounting, financial analysis and reporting skills that will fast track your career.

The natural next step after 2-3 years would be into fully fledged finance business partnering and the focus of that role is added value analysis, discussion and insights rather than month end accounting.

You’ll be joining a professional manufacturing business with an excellent track record and a significant and exciting growth plan. The next few years are expected to be record breaking in terms of revenue and growth and there will be clear opportunity to progress your career.

Required

• An accounting and finance degree (or similar) and excellent analytical skills.
• Confidence when using Excel to analyse raw data to provide meaningful snapshots and insights.
• Ability to work in a team environment and with colleagues from a finance and non finance background.
• Ability to discuss financial information with a non finance audience.
• Keen to learn and develop - naturally enthusiastic and proactive in your approach to picking up new skills and tasks.
