The Role:
As Graduate Electrical Estimator you will be providing estimating and industry expertise assisting to secure project works through tender and proposal submissions. Building relationships with existing and new clients as well as expanding the supply chain relationships.
The successful candidate will be someone who can secure tender opportunities through their thorough and detailed tender proposals as well as identifying the correct opportunities to suit. Attention to detail, technical expertise and the ability to present thorough information in a structured and professional way will be key to securing this opportunity. The successful candidate should be able to present confidently our tender submission to our potential clients or customers to demonstrate a full understanding of the tender requirement in detail ensuring our bids are persuasive.
As Graduate Electrical Estimator you will be building working relationships with key suppliers, manufacturers and wholesalers is also a key skill to ensure the most suitable and cost-effective solutions are included within tender submissions.
You:
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Experience of estimating projects within the electrical/mechanical industry
- Excellent IT Skills
- Excellent time management and organisation skills
- Ability to work under own initiative and with an exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to mentor and manage a team of estimators
- Ability to work to deadlines and on multiple opportunities at the same time
- Willingness to travel to complete surveys, attend meetings to allow the collation of detailed outputs for review to assist with the estimating and tender proposal submissions
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Right to Work in the UK
