Graduate Design Engineer required. Our client is a well-established and growing manufacturer of fabricated equipment based in Westbury, Wiltshire. Due to the ongoing success, they are seeking an enthusiastic Graduate Design Engineer to complete designs for manufacture and layout drawings with the use of Solidworks 3D modelling software.

Graduate Design Engineer Position Overview

  • Preparing manufacturing drawings of approved designs, including sheet metal drawings, weldments and assembly drawings.
  • Assisting the project management team with design input and project plans
  • Complying with company health and safety standards
  • Carrying out modifications of products for submitting tenders and quotations

Graduate Design Engineer Position Requirements

  • Proficient with 3D CAD software, Solidworks is ideal however similar 3D modelling packages will be considered
  • Degree qualified within the Engineering / Manufacturing industries
  • Experience within metal fabrication is desirable
  • Based in a commutable distance of Westbury, Wiltshire

Graduate Design Engineer Position Remuneration

  • Salary £22,000 - £28,000 - depending on experience / qualifications
  • Monday to Friday, full-time, permanent position
  • Holiday allowance and Pension
