Graduate Building Surveyor Full APC Support
A well-established Construction Consultancy with a number of high-profile clients requires a Building Surveyor at Graduate / Assistant level with some commercial experience who is committed to completing their APC (Assessment of Professional Competence) to join their expanding business. They would also consider a newly qualified surveyor with a commensurate salary and benefits.
You will be joining a team of 12 and reporting to the Directors, where you'll be working closely with clients to understand goals and develop and support viable solutions. You will be exposed to a wide range of building surveying duties, along eventually with project management of retail refurbishment and fit-out projects.
The consultancy has a significant focus on corporate clients and retail but also works in education, commercial, residential, and heritage buildings. The company recognises the value of supporting candidates through their APC and providing a pathway for advancing careers within the company. They are considering candidates with some commercial experience who are seeking a better company with better support.
You will be involved in the following:
- Measured & Site Surveys
- Feasibility & scheme design drawings using AutoCAD and Sketch-Up
- Condition Surveys
- Dilapidations
- Schedule of Repairs
- Building Pathology / Defect Analysis
- Party Wall Act
- Contract Administration under JCT contracts
- Project Management
- Other general Building Surveying Duties
Requirements:
- RICS accredited degree in Building Surveying
- Industry experience
- Driving Licence
Salary:
- £25-£35k Salary
- Pension
- Full APC Support
