Package

Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with project managers and engineering teams to understand project requirements and objectives.
- Utilize CAD software to create detailed designs, schematics, and technical drawings for custom electrical switchgear.
- Conduct feasibility studies and performance evaluations to ensure designs meet technical specifications and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to translate design concepts into practical solutions, optimizing for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Provide technical support during the manufacturing process, addressing any design-related issues and implementing necessary modifications.
- Participate in design reviews, offering insights and recommendations to enhance product performance and reliability.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continuously improve design processes and product offerings.
Experience Required:
- HND in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience working as a CAD & Design Engineer in the field of electrical switchgear design or similar industries. - Proficiency in CAD software (Preferably SolidWorks) and other design tools.
- Strong understanding of electrical principles, schematics, and components.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements related to electrical switchgear design (e.g., ANSI, IEC) is preferred
