You'll find us working in Broxbourne and across southeast Hertfordshire, where we have 5,300 homes supporting more than 12,000 people.

We are now looking for a Governance Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis, working 22.5 hours per week for a nine month fixed term contract.

The Role

As a Governance Assistant, you will support effective governance arrangements for B3Living and our subsidiary boards and committees.

Supporting the preparation of board and committee meetings, you will manage agenda setting and distribution, take minutes, maintain an annual programme of items for the meetings and progress or co-ordinate the preparation of reports.

You will also support the Deputy Company Secretary in maintaining documentation supporting the governance framework, ensuring an accurate record of compliance activity.

Additionally, you will:

- Ensure the compliance calendar is kept up to date and communicated
- Support the document signing process
- Maintain the conflicts of interest register
- Support the administration of compliance checks

About You

To be considered as a Governance Assistant, you will need:

- Governance experience
- Experience taking minutes
- Knowledge of the governance code and housing association regulatory requirements
