Join our clients rapidly growing team as a Goods Receiving Coordinator. This pivotal role involves overseeing the efficient and accurate tracking and booking-in of goods, primarily from intercompany shipments arriving from Europe. As the Goods Receiving Coordinator, you will manage the import process from initial inspection to booking shipments into our SAP system. Additionally, you'll provide support to the sales office team by handling purchase orders and processing sales orders for retail end customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Verify the accuracy and completeness of incoming shipments against purchase orders or other relevant documents
  • Identify and report any discrepancies to the appropriate parties
  • Coordinate with hauliers and customs agents to ensure timely and compliant processing of shipments
  • Log incoming shipments and update inventory management systems (SAP and Excel) with relevant information
  • Liaise with suppliers or vendors to resolve any issues or discrepancies with received goods
  • Coordinate inbound goods with various departments, including two warehouse locations
  • Support stocktaking activities as required
  • Process incoming sales orders in alignment with company policies and procedures, providing assistance to the main sales office team

Qualifications:

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced setting
  • Proficiency in computer systems and software programs, especially SAP, MS Excel, and MS Outlook
