Global Treasury Manager

Meraki Talent are exclusively engaged on a Global Treasury Manager role based in the central belt of Scotland paying £65,000 - £80,000 plus excellent bonus, pension & benefits.

As part of the 'global one finance function’ the business are investing heavily in infrastructure, technology and process/continuous improvement initiatives with the opportunity to get involved in these fantastic international projects.

The Role

The redeveloped role of Global Treasury Manager will inherit a highly experienced, talented and performing treasury team. As a result of the teams existing teams tenure and experience, the day by day aspects of treasury run seamlessly. This provides Global Treasury Manager with the freedom and capacity to be the vital interface into the SLT/Board to influence strategy, direction and decision making based on treasury performance & activities. Furthermore, it will also be the lead to business partner and interact with key external stakeholders - banks, advisors etc.

The latter part of 2024 and 2025 will have involvement in several high profile projects to develop, streamline and consolidate processes, procedures, controls, systems & automation.

They key components of the role:

• Interacting with the SLT and Board to influence strategy, direction and decision making based on treasury performance & activities
• Ownership of global treasury function with a focus on FX
• Hiring, training and development of the existing treasury team
• Lead business partner to interact with external stakeholders - banks, advisors etc.
• Management of multiple bank accounts across the world in number different currencies
• Leading on several high profile process/continuous improvement initiatives

Candidate Profile

We are keen to engage with candidate that meet the below criteria:

• International treasury experience (multiple currencies)
• Ability to own & lead on FX strategy
• People management experience
• Ideally qualified in ACT or CA/ACCA/CIMA
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
