Global Procurement Manager / Contract / Full time / Hybrid- London

Our client, a global and well recognised insurance company are seeking a Lead Sourcing Specialist to join their team. The right individual will have a proven track record in advising and negotiating global contracts and have a strong understanding of legal concepts within negotiations.

Role and Responsibilities:
  • Act as a trusted advisor for internal business partners
  • Lead sourcing activities that drive value in support of major global initiatives
  • Review, draft and negotiate contract documents relating to complex deals
  • Partner with legal teams and support groups when necessary to ensure completion of contracts
  • Manage commercial negotiations with the relevant suppliers
  • participate in activities relating to overall spend category objectives, alongside those that drive continuous improvement to the wider organisation
  • Focus on CRBS

Essential Skills:
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of experience within a global sourcing position, or similar, with responsibility for sourcing and negotiating on a global level, EMEA and UK preferred
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Lead strategic sourcing processes and contract development
  • Understand the legalities paired with contract negotiations
  • Strong relationship management skills, with the ability to work with all levels of seniority
  • Be educated with any of the following: Purchasing Manager, Masters’ degree in procurement/ supply chain/ business related field or equivalent
Package:
  • UP to £690 per day umbrella
  • 12-month contract position
  • Hybrid in London
