Role & Responsibilities

  • Working as part of the global private capital team to drive and to deliver the core product and solutions strategy, you will be responsible for:
  • Developing new products and enhancing existing products – working with Client  Development teams, marketing, strategy to anticipate and address the market’s needs on an ongoing basis, to create the market-leading solution for target market segments; contributing to product strategy and evaluation of product gaps; writing business cases, product approval documents, developing pricing models, guidelines and strategy; contribute to new product implementation projects
  • Managing the portfolio of existing products – developing and maintaining standard pricing and product catalogues, business operating and client experience models and marketing strategy and initiatives.
  • Supporting Business Development – providing product expertise in support of Client Development in client meetings and events as well as RFP responses; participating in client on-boardings to ensure delivery of agreed solutions sold; provision of client line input to global and UK regulatory assessments where relevant.
  • Market Watch – Market and competitor research and intelligence gathering and analysis; attending industry events and conferences; relationship building and management with market influencers and industry bodies.
  • Expert in Private Debt Solutions – Development of product and solutions for private debt and loan administration clients; maintaining private debt pitch-books and coordinating with marketing for production of private debt materials and input into wider marketing.

Background & Experience

  • Successful candidates will most likely have worked in the Fund Services industry and have relevant experience in Private Capital / Loans admin from a product management and development perspective (or closely related areas).
  • Candidates with a good understanding of Private Capital from a senior Operations, securitisation or fund control perspective on the client side will also be considered, but should understand product strategy, evaluation of product gaps, delivering on product roadmaps / business plans, and implementation projects too.
  • A natural client manner, with the ability to interact with senior executives internally (particularly sales, IT, Operations, marketing) and externally is essential; as well as a ‘roll your sleeves’ up and proactive outlook.
  • Relevant market knowledge to be able to represent the organisation and clients’ interests in strategic market forums is required.
  • Self-motivation, integrity, team player, adaptability and technical expertise is key, as is the ability to work with counterparts across the globe.
  • Ideally proficiency in a second European language in addition to fluency in English (spoken and written).
  • Ideally a graduate or have demonstrable relevant industry experience with relevant training and qualifications.
