Global Media Manager
We have a fantastic role working with a global, FTSE 20, organisation that has a requirement for a Global Media Manager. Candidates need experience and understanding of key media channels planning i.e. social media, video, connected TV - You need to have experience in these channels and understand how to identify and measure best practice.
Location: Maidenhead, Hybrid 2 days, potentially remote UK based
Rate: £265 per day PAYE
Duration: 7 months

The role of a Global Media Manager involves a comprehensive approach to optimising media and digital channels through the amalgamation of industry best practices. The core responsibilities encompass market analysis, brand playbook enhancement, investment mix evaluation, and fostering the potential for expansion into influencer and creator partnerships. This role demands both analytical prowess and effective communication skills for bridging the gap between insights and actionable strategies. The Global Media Manager will work across various tools, ensuring uniformity and adherence to standards across diverse brands. This role is open to candidates with agency, in-house, or vendor backgrounds that must be able to come in and hit the ground running.
Key Responsibilities:
Best Practice Synthesis: Consolidate industry best practices across diverse media and digital channels to inform core projects.
Market Analysis: Utilise various tools and dashboards to consistently assess top markets, ensuring optimal usage.
Brand Playbook Enhancement: Update and refine brand playbooks and guidelines for seamless integration into day-to-day media plans.
Investment Mix Management: Maintain a regular and accurate understanding of investment allocation, necessitating the preparation of comprehensive reports and presentations for the business.
Scope Expansion: Identify opportunities for growth, particularly in the realm of influencers and creators, and develop strategies to tap into this potential.
Trend Analysis and Performance Evaluation: Conduct meticulous analysis of trends and performance, utilising tools to translate key insights into actionable recommendations for the business. This involves frequent engagement in meetings within the organisation.
Analytical Proficiency: Apply analytical skills to dissect data and simplify complex terminology, making it accessible and actionable for the business.
Tools Management: Work with various tools to ensure consistency and compliance across different brands.
Managerial Role: As a manager, oversee and guide the team in executing media strategies effectively.
