Global Innovations Programme Manager

A leading manufacturer of products and solutions for the telecom & datacom industries has a newly created opportunity for a Global Innovations Programme Manager.

In this role you be focused on driving technological advancements and innovation within the company whilst promoting the company’s value to potential customers in order to develop future business opportunities. You will be responsible for overseeing the development of advanced technology solutions, as well as managing the research and development projects in Europe.

The day to day of the role will include:

• Leading the development and execution of technology strategies and initiatives to support the company's overall objectives
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and implement technological solutions that enhance future business opportunities
• Providing technical expertise and guidance to team members, ensuring the successful completion of projects and tasks
• Evaluating and recommending new technologies, tools, and methodologies to enhance the company’s technology stack and improve the company’s capabilities
• Overseeing & managing the Research and Development projects in Europe, and ensuring timely delivery of its deliverables and high-quality results
• Conducting research information and data on competitor’s’ products
• Communicating and collaborating with all Departments including Sales, Engineering, and Supply Chain.
• Seeking new product opportunities outside current market segments served
• Attending trade shows, conduct market research, and keep abreast of new technology
• Working with internal legal team to support Patents and Intellectual Property programs

We are looking for individuals with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field and experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

Proven experience in leading and managing technology teams is preferred but happy to look at those moving not this level of position.

Ideally you will be based in the UK but the position is open to those across Europe.
