Global Demand Planner S&OP

Pod Talent are very excited to be working with an international medical devices manufacturer, with specialisms within a range of critical healthcare categories who are looking for a Global Demand Planner (S&OP) to join their team in Deeside/Cheshire.

You will be responsible for delivering exceptional demand planning, working collaboratively with our commercial colleagues across a number of markets and business units to ensure you are meeting the business needs.

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Global Demand Planner to join an industry with a revenue of over $2 billion; they provide products and services in almost 100 countries, with over 10,000 employees worldwide.

Responsibilities

As a Global Demand Planner, your key responsibilities include:

• Develop highly collaborative and trusted relationships with the Commercial and Marketing organizations to ensure Demand requirements are understood and accurately transmitted to Supply Planning
• Manage the market demand plans over the planning horizon to identify trends, event scenarios, issues and corrective actions, through demand analysis, demand scenarios, reconciliation with financials and commercial collaboration
• Support the market level S&OP processes
• Actively develop relationships with markets commercial and financial teams to build market knowledge over the 18, 24 and 36 months planning horizon.

Requirements

• 4+ years experience Demand Planning/S&OP with a background in consumer goods/FMCG
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Proactive attitude and approach to problem solving - "can-do" mind-set
• Strong analytical skills - must have SAP IBP
• Ability to work on tight deadlines and prioritize
