Global Brand and Category Manager | FMCG

Amsterdam/Hybrid

Up to €100,000 + bonus + benefit package

Salt are excited to have exclusively partnered with this iconic and leading FMCG brand who are on a digital transformation all whilst growing the desirability of their much loved product category.

As the Global Brand and Category Manager you will be focusing on the development and execution of the category's strategy, specifically looking at managing global innovation projects. You will define the category P&L, portfolio, price pack architecture, innovation pipeline and promotion strategy. This role will suit an entrepreneurial individual who has global level experience in a brand/category role.

The Role

The role reports into the the Global Category Director, situated in the Centre of Excellence division of the business.

You can expect to:

  • Review the category and highlight opportunities, looking at portfolio adjustments with the aim of increasing market share.
  • Project manage innovation projects from concept to fruition, from designing and building the brief for R&D, to consulting with digital specialists the best way to bring the portfolio to market.
  • Work with local markets on launching new products, from ideation to commercialization.
  • Define the Go to market strategy for products.
  • Accountable for the category's targets and assisting with budget planning.

You

This role is for a driven, entrepreneurial brand professional. Skills needed are:

  • Strong brand background within the FMCG industry.
  • Category Management experience.
  • Self-motivated and proactive individual.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
